I heart Leslie Benet!

Thank God for Miss Leslie Maddox! Leslie is one of my good friends and bridesmaids as well as a fellow climbing the walls, dying of anticipation stressed out wild eyed bride-to-be! Not only do I have the good fortune of having her as my friend I also am getting married within a month and a half of her (her wedding is July 25, 2009). This past weekend we went shopping for bridesmaids dresses and even though trying to find a dress that will flatter all of my girls (and not make any of them want to hurl) is a daunting task we still had fun. We tried on the good, the bad and well, we at least made fun of the downright ugly! I have definitely found my dress! I think it is gorgeous and it looked fantastic on both Leslie and I! This is quote the accomplishment since I am under five feet and she has about six inches on me! I even picked a color! I know it seems like a small victory but trust me once you get engaged and you start planning your wedding the tiniest details seem like the biggest decisions. Aubergine or wine dresses? Cocoa or sable? Lemon or buttercup? And seriously the smallest difference in shade seems like the biggest of deals. The details are overwhelming even for someone as details oriented fas I am! So small victory in the end, but it still felt good. And Leslie and I had fun. But seriously, I don't know where I would be in this mess without her!
